Xtra-Lok’s can be fitted to Roller doors, Tilt a doors, Panel Lift and even sliding shed style doors.
Double installation recommended for doors over 2.4m wide.
Some commercial Roller doors lock only by the chain, leaving the door easily jimmied up. Others have inadequate slide bolts on one or both sides of the door, leaving the middle the weak point.
Domestic Roller doors are broken into in seconds and these days there is often an entry door into the house from the garage. Xtra-Lok’s secure the door to the concrete with a simple latching technique taking seconds. When unlocked they lay flat to the floor. Xtra-Lok’s help prevent break-ins via the door being jimmied up, or as in a ram-raid situation, they are also of great assistance in strong wind areas.
Xtra-Lok’s are constructed form steel treated with zinc for corrosion resistance. The hinge pin is 304 grade stainless steel for strength and durability. They are supplied with four hardened tamper proof concrete fasteners and four cup head bolts.
